On some problemal aspects of activities to ensure national security of individual forces of the security and defense sector of Ukraine
Abstract
The article analyzes the practice of the National Police, aimed at ensuring the national security of Ukraine, identifies the problems that arise in this regard, as well as developed scientifically sound measures to address them on the merits.
As practice shows, the low level of prevention of crimes that infringe on the national security of Ukraine, not only increases the criminogenicity of some of these issues, but also undermines the state's authority to prevent these socially dangerous acts and eliminate, neutralize, block the determinants generate and promote implementation in everyday life.
One of the subjects of prevention of these and other criminal offenses, as well as a member of the security and defense forces defined in the Law of Ukraine "On National Security" is the National Police, whose activities to ensure national security today are ineffective and subject to constant criticism on the part of the public, and also does not fully comply with the conceptual principles of this Law, as a subject of the security and defense sector (Part 2 of Article 12), which, in turn, affects the level of protection defined in this legal act on of national security.
Visual examples of this are the recent events in Ukraine, when for only one month (June) 2020 terrorist acts took place in several settlements, which significantly destabilized public order and security.
At the same time, in the current socio-political and military conditions prevailing in Ukraine, the issues of more effective and productive provision of national security are receiving increased attention and need to be resolved at the doctrinal level.
Thus, there is a complex applied problem that needs to be solved, including at the doctrinal level.
Based on this, the purpose of this scientific article was to analyze the practice of the National Police, aimed at ensuring the National Security of Ukraine, and the main task - to develop scientifically sound measures to address existing problems in this regard.
