Abstract

The article explores the major historical milestones of the formation of Theory of State and Law Departments in National University “Odessa Law Academy”. The general theoretical research school devoted to the study of tradition and innovation in legal development formation at the Theory of State and Law Department has been demonstrated. Promising key areas of general studies, carried out at the Department, are analyzed and proved.
